It is with deep sadness that we share that longtime parishioner, Milenko Vukojević, passed away at home on Saturday, January 14, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

Milenko Vukojević was born in Šipovača, Hercegovina Croatia in August 1945. He is survived by his four children Anna (Jeremy), Mark (Erin †), Mate (Debbie) and Angie (Pajo), his twelve grandchildren, brother, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins here in the USA, Germany and Croatia, and an incredible number of friends that he calls family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, daughter-in-law Erin, and beloved wife Marija.

Our dad was truly the patriarch and center of our family and extended families. He came to the USA in 1969 and built his life here with love, faith, hope and pride for his two countries – the USA and Croatia. He met Marija, our mom here in the USA and achieved so much by raising all his kids in the Catholic faith and making a wonderful life for us in this great country. One thing he always said during our conversations with him throughout the years, was that he was most proud of his family and the amazing legacy he leaves behind. Milenko spent his final days at home with his family after his 3 ½ year battle with Stage 4 lung cancer (NSCLC non-smoker).

Life will never be the same without him, but it gives us peace knowing he is reunited with our mom, and they will continue to guide and watch over us from heaven above.
