Surrounded by her family Milka passed away March 10th at the age of 94. Daughter of Juraj and Roza Petrusic. Milka is predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Nikola.
She was the best mom to her three children Nikola (Ana), Zlatica (Goldie) Jagas and Zlatko (Deborah). She was the best Baka to her grandchildren Sabrina (John), Danny (Michelle), Jenny (Bill), Marko (Mariko), Ella and Sabine. A very loving Stara Baka to her great grandchildren Neyvehah, Nathan, Dario, Miliana, Mateo, Liam and Eva.
She leaves behind her sister Roza Stajcer and her daughter Ann (John) and son David (Brigita). She will be missed by family and friends in Canada, United States, Australia, Germany and Croatia. Milka was an energetic woman that had a sparkle in her eyes, a fire in her heart and a certain feistiness in her soul.
Family always came first, especially when it came to feeding them. She always had plenty of her schnitzel, strudel and cheesecake ready for anyone that stopped by for a visit. Her faith in God helped her in all aspects of her life and guided her through the good and bad moments that would come along. She is now at peace and may God rest her soul.
