It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Milka Biljan, loving mother, Baba, and friend to many. Milka passed away peacefully on March 30, 2023 in Brampton, Ontario.
Milka will be deeply missed and remembered by her daughter, Marija Biljan (Paul Falzetta), and her three grandchildren, Krystal Winter (Michael Winter), Kaitlyn Margison, and Stephen Margison. In Heaven, she joins her beloved husband, Stanko Biljan, and son, Miško Biljan.
Milka had three passions in life: family, food, and faith. She treasured her family and role as a fiercely loving Baba. She showed her love through food, and was known for her soups, stuffing, and strudel. When not cooking for those she loved, she was praying for them. Milka was a devoted Catholic for all her life, always keeping the love and protection of God close by. May she rest peacefully in Heaven.
