Beloved husband and soulmate of Dragica for 62 blessed years. Cherished father of Zlatica and Miljenko (Maritza). Loving grandfather of Peter (Rebecca), Matthew (Rebecca), Amanda (Justin) and much loved Deda of Makenna, Mira, Hayden, Wyatt and Colt. Dear brother of Veronika Sapic. Sadly missed by his in-laws Franjo (the late Valeria), Nikola and Zvonko (Zorica), Stjepan (Visnja) and their families.
Fondly remembered by other family and friends in Croatia, Germany and Canada. Mirko was a former employee of Dofasco with 30 years of service.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing bocce and mall walking with friends. Mirko had a talent as a handyman and used his talent to build and renovate many home projects. His son Miljenko inherited his talent as a handyman.
