In Memory of Nada A. Kovacic (nee Klepac), 88, of Chesterland, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 5th, 2021, at Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center in Akron, Ohio. She was born August 2, 1933, in Cernik, Croatia.

Loving mother of Joseph (Rachel), Debra (John) Marich, Michael (Cyndee), Diane (Kevin) Morris and Joanne (Anthony) Schaffner; cherished grandmother of Anthony (Marlene), Joseph, Nicole (Jason) Keltner, Brian (Rebecca) Marich, Michael (Brooke) Marich, Dana (Raymond) Skully, Danielle (deceased), Michael, Alyssa (James) Kephart, Shannon Morris, Stephanie (Kyle) Hilfiker, and Katherine Schaffner; great-grandmother of 15; with many cherished cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Nada was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 35 years, Joseph V.; parents Michael and Magda (nee Slobodnjak) Klepac; and brothers Mijo, Janko, and Anton Klepac.

Upon arrival to America at 17 years of age, Nada settled in Cleveland, Ohio, became a member of the St. Paul Croatian Catholic Church, and joined a local folk group following her passion for the Croatian culture. Nada was a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union of America, Zumberak Lodge #859 for 60 plus years. Nada was also an actively involved parent with the Cleveland Junior Tamburitzans.

Nada was proud to be an American with continued love for her homeland. She loved spending time with family, friends, and grandchildren. Nada enjoyed crocheting, travel, and visiting resorts and casinos.

Nada was the family Matriarch, keeping the family connected and close, always helpful to family and friends.

The family of Nada is greatly appreciative for your support, kindness, and prayers during this very difficult time for all who loved her.

Nada had one request for surviving family and friends: stay in touch with the ones you love.
