Nada Lavric, age 89, of Columbus, died Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at home with her family by her side.
She was born in Croatia on November 8, 1931, the daughter of the late Matija and Mila Tomas. Lovingly known as Baka to her family, she is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Sinisa Lavric and Boris (Betsy) Lavric; beloved grandchildren, Kathryn (Zack) Pearson, Kristen (Mike) Smith, Michael (Kaitlin) Lavric, Matthew (Laura) Lavric, Natalia Lavric, Melania Lavric, Katarina Lavric, Helena Lavric and Aleksander Lavric; and great-grandchildren, Evan, Olivia and Joseph Lavric. Also survived by dear friends, Enza Persichetti, Lois Kuehn, Beth Smith and Sr. Joan Popovits.
Besides her parents, Nada was preceded in death by her husband Drago Lavric, sister Zdenka and daughter-in-law Bonnie Lavric.
She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish. Baka was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and cooking and loved spending time as a seamstress. She was so proud to make her family dresses and her daughter-in-law's and granddaughter's wedding dresses.
