Neda M. Bogatay, a loving, faith-filled, and gentle Catholic woman, was born on August 18, 1947 in Croatia, and entered into eternal rest on July 24, 2026, at the age of 78.
Neda lived a life marked by devotion to God, deep love for her family, and quiet acts of kindness that touched everyone who knew her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy was caring for the people she loved. Her life was a beautiful reflection of her faith, and she carried herself with grace, humility, and warmth in all that she did.
Family was the center of Neda's life, and she considered caring for them to be her greatest calling. She found joy in the simple and meaningful things, especially cooking and baking for her loved ones. She was a fantastic cook, and many will remember the warmth of her kitchen and the comfort of her table. When she was able, she also loved tending to her garden.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 33 years, Frank Bogatay, who stood faithfully by her side through the years. She also leaves behind her children, Robert Mosack and his wife Monica, and Michelle Mozes, who were blessed by her steady love, encouragement, and example. Neda was a cherished grandmother to Natalie, Christine, Alexander, Katherine, Julia, and Robert, and a proud great-grandmother to Baylor, Emilia, Conrad, and Henry. She is also survived by her sister, Mary, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who will forever treasure her memory and the love she shared so freely.
Neda was preceded in death by her siblings Nancy, Joseph, and Ante, whom she held dear in her heart throughout her life. Though she now joins them in the presence of the Lord, the bonds of family and faith that she nurtured remain a lasting comfort to those who mourn her passing.
