She was married to Riccardo Chersicla on November 18, 1956. Nerina had worked at Avon Products in Suffern, New York and retired 33 years ago. She was a member of The Rockland Widow and Widowers Club, Gardening Club and a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church.
She had a great passion for cooking, gardening and knitting.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Riccardo Chersicla and eldest son, Fiore Chersicla. She is survived by 2 sons, Ed Chersicla and Dario Chersicla; grandchildren Rick Chersicla, Katrina Chersicla, Lauren Espinal, Carly Chersicla and Daniel Chersicla; great grandchildren Kate Chersicla, Emme Chersicla, Victoria Chersicla, Penelope Espinal and Nicholas Espinal and Logan Chersicla.
