It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nikola Maric in his 88th year. He was surrounded by his family and loved ones. He is pre-deceased by his wife Marija Maric. Supportive father of Ana Durlov (Vasko, pre-deceased), Vera Maric and Ivanka Grgic (Jozo). Loving Dida of Nata, Diti, Mare (pre-deceased) and Kote Durlov, Avadawn and Mark Grgic and Saphir Domladovac. Great-grandfather of Avadawn Dore, Silas Santucci and Arlo Hajdini. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends in Canada and Croatia. Sretan Put Dida.

Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Thursday January 13 from 4-6pm with Vigil Prayers at 3:15pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Catholic Church, 1883 King Street East, Hamilton on Friday January 14 at 11 am. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations to Holy Cross Church would be appreciated by the family.
