Nikola came as a young man to Canada (as described in his book "From Hell to Freedom - Croatian Odyssey to Canada"). He was a highly respected businessman and one of the pioneers of Alberta's oil and gas industry.
Nikola was loved and cherished by his second family after he married Gail Molson-Plesa five years after the death of his beloved first wife Jane.
Nikola leaves behind his wife Gail Molson-Plesa, his step-daughter Julie Sullivan, stepson-in-law DaArcy, and their two children Kieran and Reilly who so loved and adored their "Dido".
Out in Eastern Canada Nikola leaves behind Dennis and Debbie Milling, and their daughters Shannon and Aaron as well as Mark Billado and his children Grace Kady Gail and Liam; Jay and Kerry Phoman and his daughters D. Louise and Brianne.
In our hearts, Nikola will live on forever until we meet again - thanking him for his constant love, support, and generosity. Goodbye Dido and Niko.
