Pero Brnada, age 65, of Eastlake, OH, passed away unexpectedly at his home on April 26, 2023. He was born in Bugojno, Bosnia and Herzegovina on January 2, 1958.

Pero graduated with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1982. After graduation, he worked as a lead engineer while also teaching part time technical courses at a high school in Gornji Vakuf - Uskoplje, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Due to the civil war in his home country and with the ambition to provide a better life and opportunities for his family, Pero moved to the United States to start a new chapter in life. In Ohio, Pero found employment with Enterprise Welding which he spent working for over 21 years. He was a man with a strong work ethic, who was always ready to share knowledge and expertise with others for the greater good.

Pero was a humble, kind, and a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially with his two grandkids playing basketball and hide-and-seek. He found pleasure in doing home-improvement projects that benefited his loved ones and many of his friends. He enjoyed playing chess, following soccer, reading and watching documentaries about various topics in history, science, and nature.

Pero is survived by his beloved wife, Dragica Brnada (nee Bosnjak), with whom he shared 40 years of happy marriage. He was a dear father of Josip (Darinka) and Ivana Jurcevic (Michael); grandfather of Petar and Antonia Brnada; brother of Tomko, Tonka, Slava, and uncle of their children. He leaves behind many relatives and friends in North America and Europe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ante and Janja Brnada (Pavkovic).
