Rajna Fadich passed away on October 10, 2021, following a 15 month battle against pancreatic cancer.
She was born on June 10, 1957, in Konjevrate, Sibenik, Croatia. She moved to San Pedro, CA in January 1982 with her husband Zarko. In June they celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.
For a few years Rajna worked special events at Ante's restaurant, then she became known as the "Cafeteria Lady" by many school kids at Dana, Cabrillo, Bandini, and Leland St schools. She retired in 2020 to enjoy life with her family.
She is survived by her husband; her two daughters, Ana (Marko) Tomsic and Antoinette; her grandson, Noa; sister, Mira (Mate) Skugor; brother, Mate (Darija) Badzim; numerous nieces and nephews, and friends throughout the South Bay and Croatia.
