Clifton - Romano Kranjac, 87, of Clifton, passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021. Born in Istria, Croatia, Romano came to the United States in 1954 settling in New York City. He has been a resident of Clifton since 1963.

An inventor and manufacturer of machine tools by trade, Romano was employed by the Aloris Tool Company of Clifton since 1956 and he was an owner of Aloris since 1996.

Romano was a faithful parishioner of St. Brendan R.C. Church in Clifton and was a member of the Regina Mundi Knights of Columbus Council #3969 in Clifton.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Suzanne McIntosh in November of 2020 and his brother, Mario Kranjac.

Survivors include: his beloved wife of 59 years, Maria (nee Skabic); his daughter, Daniella Kranjac and her husband, Richard Ferraro; his son, Hon. Mario M. Kranjac and his wife, Nancy; his son-in-law, Michael McIntosh; and four grandchildren, Christine McIntosh, and her husband Yu Kambe, and Mario, Adriana and Nicholas Kranjac.

He loved God, his family and the United States of America.

A "walk-through" visitation will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will be held Monday 9:15 am from the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Mass at St. Brendan R.C. Church, 154 East 1st Street @ Lakeview Avenue, Clifton. Burial to follow at Mount Hebron Cemetery, Montclair. Facemasks must be worn and social distancing will apply. Please limit your visitation time to allow others to pay their respects as there are still restrictions on the number of visitors allowed.
