Age 76, passed away suddenly on February 14, 2021. Born in Sarvas, Croatia on August 28, 1944 to Franz Reiter and Anna Šarić, he arrived in America in 1951 and was a 1964 graduate of Garfield High School. Rudy worked at Goodyear for 34 years, at one point making race car tires for NASCAR. He loved hunting with his brothers and making traditional Reiter family sausage.
Preceded in death by his parents; sister, Katie Leffler; and brothers, Matt, Tony and Louie Reiter. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Beverly; daughters, Jo Ann (Greg) Stokes of Cresco, PA, Jennifer (Roby) Breitigam of Jenera, OH, Jenene (Ted) Hanlon of Sullivan, OH; step-son, Edward (Niki) Sundling of Norton, OH; two sisters, Draga Kercheff of Barberton and Mary Burghardt of Stow; 12 grandchildren; one step-grandson; and 2 great grandsons as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Per Rudy's request, he will be cremated and there will be no services.
