It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stanko Šarić on May 12, 2021 at his home with his loving family by his side in his 86th year.
Loving husband of Marija Šarić. He will be dearly missed by his daughters Angela (Steve) Biljan, Jadranka (Anthony) Savelli, and son Mike Šarić. Grandfather to five beautiful grandchildren, Richard, Nicholas, Robert, David and Marko. Predeceased by his parents Stana and Mijat, three brothers in Croatia, Nikola, Marko, Grga, and two sisters Zora and Masa.
Stanko left behind many nephews, nieces, and cousins in Croatia. He loved to socialize, play Bocce Ball, visit with his grandchildren and help anyone in need.
Thank you to all involved in his care. Special thank you to the Dialysis Team at St. Joseph's Ambulatory Care Hospital. Stanko will be sadly missed and never forgotten.

Visitors are required to wear a face covering and practice social distancing. Visitation at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Monday, May 17, 2021 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Private Funeral Mass and Interment at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery. Funeral Mass will be available to view on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 11 am by logging on to Holy Cross Croatian RC Church Facebook page, facebook.com/holycrosscroatian. If desired, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
