It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of Štefanija Zlata Novak on Friday, September 20th, 2024.
She leaves behind beloved husband Vlado, children Natalie (Saša) and Robert (Jennifer), grandchildren Filip and Ava, and brother Željko (Dorothy).
She will also be sadly missed by numerous, extended family and friends across Canada and Croatia.
Zlata was kind and affectionate. For friends, it was never difficult to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. For family, she would try to move mountains if needed, and always gave
her love, never-ending support and encouragement. She always gave 110% and never stopped fighting for what was right. Because of her, we have the hearts of lions, the love of our family and an insane work ethic.
She loved to joke, play pranks and her vibrant, fun-loving personality often found her to be the life of the party. Laughing, singing and especially dancing could happen at any moment.
Never would she back down from a good fight, even though this last one, was not meant for her to win.
She will be deeply missed, forever in our hearts and finally at peace in God's hands.....where the good times roll!
