Stefica earned her diploma at the Institute of Cosmetics under mentorship from dermatologist Dr. Hans Miller, and world-renowned cosmetician Nelly Andrenazzi.
She practiced her profession in Canada for several years. She was active in her field and wrote many articles on related subjects for various publications, as well as political articles for various Croatian emigrant publications.
Stefica left her husband Ante for 57 years with whom she shared many heart-felt memories through joyful times and difficult times as many immigrants did. She leaves behind relatives in Canada, Croatia, Bosnia, and her native Herzegovina, as well as many friends and acquaintances throughout the world. Special thanks are extended to Dr. Fraser, Paula Pereira, the staff of Heritage Green Nursing Home and also Ante and Anka Spelic.
