Steve passed away peacefully on Thursday May 12th 2022 in Brampton, Ontario Canada, after a short battle with cancer. Born August 2, 1937 in Croatia, Steve immigrated to Canada with his parents and brother when he was 21 years old.
From then he went to complete his studies in Advanced Management at Ryerson Technical Institute. After which he went to work for numerous large well-known companies.
He met the love of his life Nadia; they got married and had threechildren. He played soccer, coached soccer loved to watch the game of soccer and was the number one supporter of the Croatian soccer team.
He could tell stories like no ones business and kept everyone on the edge of their seats. He loved to travel especially with his entire family to warm places. He was the dance dad that always took his daughters to their dance classes and competitions, braided their hair and watch their rehearsals and shows. He was the dad that always took his son to his soccer practices and tournaments. He was our number 1 fan!
We will deeply miss him every day of our lives. Steve is survived by his much loved wife Nadia Nezic, Loved and missed by his children Carmen Nezic-Pacheco & son in law Paul, Aida Nezic & son in law Kieran, Justin Nezic & daughter in law Susie, brother Joe Nezic & sons Ivo & Nick, Forever inthe hearts of his Grandchildren Amber Nezic-Pacheco, AlynahNezic-Pacheco, Steffen Nezic, Emilia Nezic, Dylan Hassey-Nezic.
