Tammy was born October 31, 1954 in Zagreb, Croatia to Vesna Dobrovolni. Tammy emigrated from Croatia to Belgium when she was 5 years old. Tammy came to the US when she was 16 years old as an exchange student sponsored by the Marrs family of Sleepy Hollow.
She attended her senior year and graduated from J.E.B. Stuart High School in 1972. She received a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Maryland in 1976.
Tammy is survived by her husband Christopher Buehler and children, Victoria Brinkman and Bridget Brinkman.
