Beloved wife of Josip for 58 years. Loving mother of Mike Došen and Marija (Josip) Pavković. Cherished Baba of 5 grandchildren; Jacob Došen, Nicholas Došen, Sydney Došen, Josip Pavković and Robert Pavković. Dear sister of Ana (Stane) Bedene, Josip (Maca) Keča, Marija (Franjo) Vrban, Manda (the late Maksimilijan) Reher, Dragica (Karlo) Bilić and sister-in-law of Marica (the late Kruno) Trogrlić and the late Ante (Ivanka) Došen. Predeceased by her sister Lucija (the late Nikola) Ećimović.
Terezija will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends in Canada, Croatia, Australia and throughout Europe.
Terezija was born in Batar, Bosnia and Herzegovina to her parents Marko and Milka Keča on October 1, 1945. She immigrated to Canada in 1965, where she met Josip and they married and began their family in Hamilton.
She was an exemplary mother and human being. She embodied the best of qualities: unconditional love, kindness, compassion and an unending generosity that could be seen through her life as both a mother and grandmother. She always shared her pride for both her children and all of her grandchildren to everyone she would meet with a beaming smile on her face. Her unending love will always be remembered through all those she has touched throughout her life.
In her final years Terezija still found a way to touch the hearts of those around her. Throughout her time at Macassa she would light up a room with her laugh or stories of her life in her youth. With that we would like to thank the staff of Macassa lodge for all of their care of Terezija.
