It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Vera Došen on July 24, 2024 at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster at the age of 75. She was born on May 1, 1949, in Ladanje, Zagorje, Croatia.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother (Baba), sister, and aunt. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Božo Došen, on June 21, 2024. Survived by sons; Joe (Dijana), Bob (Krista); grandchildren, Julia, Nikolas, Luke, Jackson, and Andrew.
She is mourned by sister Vika, her brothers, Mirko (Mira), Slavko (Zorica), Vlado (Nada) Branko (Zdravka), and many extended family and friends in Vancouver, Toronto, and Croatia. She was predeceased by her parents, Andrija and Ema, brothers Jure and Joža.
