Beloved husband of Zora. Loving father of David and his wife Elena of Croatia. Brother of the late Branko (late Eva), August (Magda), and the late Ivan (Marica). Vid will be lovingly remembered by his nephew Robert Lukezic (Josipa) and their daughters Pamela and Dorica. Many thanks and love to cousin Nada Bahoic (late Alojz) and their children Mario, Danny, Kristopher and family. He will also be missed by Zora's family; Goricanac family, Bahoric family and Boldin family, Mate Boldin (Zlata) and family as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family in Canada and Croatia.
Due to Covid-19, all visitations and funerals are restricted to a specified number of attendees. All visitors will be required to wear a face covering, as well as provide name and telephone number to funeral home staff. Visitation is at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 4pm to 8pm with prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street East, on Monday, July 26, 2021 at 12 noon. Vid will be interred at Zakanje Cemetery in Croatia. If desired, donations to Sveti Kuzme i Damjana Church in Vrhovac, Croatia for the poor in need would be appreciated by the family.
