It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear husband, father and grandfather Vinko Les at Juravinski Hospital on Saturday July 16, 2022, in his 82nd year. He leaves behind his loving wife Ankica Les of almost 53 years, and his son John.
He was the proud grandfather of Nicole (Dave) and Alexander (Kyla). Dear brother and brother-in-law of Nevenka Kovacic (Janko) and family, Darko Les and family, Nikola Les (Barbara) and family, Marica Benic (late Mijo) and family, Zorka Brinjak (late Janko) and family, Janko Maletic (Jagica) and family, (late Danica) Marijan Sostaric and family, (late Jure) Senka Maletic and family, Predeceased by his brothers Ivan (late Marica), Marko (late Ankica) and Branko (late Ankica) and brother-in-law Ivan (late Đurđa) Maletic. Will be fondly remembered by family members in Canada, Croatia, Slovenia and France. Vinko was retired from Stelco after 30 years of service.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Juravinski Hospital, especially nurse Michelle for taking care of Vinko.
