Survived by his children Ann Hewitt (Mike), John Popovacki (Carol), Nancy Andrejciw (Randy). Deda dearly loved his grandchildren Aimee, Katherine, Michael, Leanna (Kyle), Christopher, Randall, Faith, Joseph, and Maria, and great-granddaughter Evelyne-Rose. Predeceased by brother John (Mary) and sister Mary. He will be fondly remembered by his brothers Joe (Mary), Steve (Mary), Nick (Barbara), and nieces and nephews in Croatia, the United States, and Canada. The family thanks all those who have cared for Slavo over the years. Visitation at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King St. E, on Sunday, July 25 from 3 PM-8 PM. Vigil prayers at 7:30. Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Cross Croatian Church, Monday, July 26 at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Holy Cross Croatian Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
