Zdenka Fleisch is survived by her niece Sanja Bedrava, of Opatija, Croatia. She is preceded in death by {her husband Branko Fleisch of Vancouver, her brother Petar Bedrava and her sister Ružica Bedrava of Zagreb, Croatia.
Zdenka Fleisch was born on November 3rd,1923 in Zagreb, Croatia to Petar and Franciska Bedrava. She graduated from Faculty of Economy in 1945 with a degree in Business Administration. She married Branko Fleisch, her Zagreb sweetheart, in 1958. After moving to Vancouver, B.C., Zdenka Fleisch began working for a Vancouver based bank as a bank clerk. The couple was, unfortunately, not blessed by any children.
Zdenka Fleisch was a generous and dedicated, larger than life personality, who was passionate about everything in her life and we all remain grateful for so much. First and foremost, for Zdenka’s long and rich life which has left a legacy of kindness and generosity, of patience and gratitude, of friendship and laughter, of deep friendship and meaningful relationship. We are so very blessed to have found ourselves within her and Branko’s circle of warmth. Her legacy, like Branko’s, lives on and their light has now been passed on to us and to those who follow us to keep it burning into eternity!
