In Memory of Zelimir Mucic, age 61, of Mentor, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on December 15th, 2022. He was born May 5th, 1961 in Konjic, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Zelimir lived his life for his family and friends. An avid collector, builder and all-around handy man, Zelimir spent countless years teaching his boys how to fix and build a variety of things.
In Zelimir’s earlier years you would most commonly find him riding through the country in Bosnia and Herzegovina with his beloved wife seated behind him on his motorcycle.
Together, always dreaming of a better life for their family. He worked as a mechanic for the greater part of his adult years until opening up a construction and landscaping company with his sons. Zelimir or “Big Z” as friends and family called him, was an amazing story teller who filled the room with stories of adventures he had experienced, and those he still dreamed to explore. His love for the ocean and fishing, was always something he spoke of fondly.
Beloved husband of Mirjana (nee Bozic) of thirty-seven years, dear father of Nikola (Karen Welch) and Tomo; brother of Jerko (Nada) and the deceased, Powao and Slavica Boskovic (Velisa, surviving). He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends, and his furry companion, Rocky.
