Unexpectedly, after a lengthy illness, at home on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 74 years of age. Best husband in the world to Agneza (nee Haničar) for 49 years. Loving Daddy of Debbie Voth and Rosemary. Proud Gramps of Christopher and Ashley Voth.
He was the youngest of the four boys of Peter and Mary. Zlatko will be missed by Agneza’s siblings and their families. Zlatko enjoyed nature, watching the birds, collecting vintage cars and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
In 1968 he immigrated to Canada from Croatia landing in Hamilton, he then ventured west returning in 1971 to Hamilton soon thereafter to St. Catharines after meeting Agneza and they married in 1972.
He was employed by Niagara Structural Steel for a brief period of time then accepted a position at Cunningham Foundry where he worked for 27 years retiring in 2004.
A private funeral service with Fr. Steven Innamorati officiating will take place at Considerate Cremation & Burial Services, 26 Nihan Drive, St. Catharines (between Lake Street & Scott Street), 289-362-1144, followed by interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
