With sadness we announce that Zvonko passed away peacefully, following a brief illness, at Grand River Hospital on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at the age of 84.
Beloved husband of Mary (nee Jurcin) for over 54 years. Loving father of Carol Bravo. Proud "Deda" of Santino and Serena. Predeceased by his parents Josip and Roza and by his brother Josip. Dear brother of Nick Miladin (Mary). Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and extended family and friends in Canada and Croatia.
Zvonko loved his card nights with friends and entertaining. He took great pride in the Duplex he and Mary owned on Shaftsbury Drive. Zvonko was always willing to lend a helping hand, often snow-blowing his neighbour's driveways. He loved to travel, spend time at the cottage on Lake Simcoe, walk his daughter's fur-babies and was often found listening to Croatian music. He was a wonderful grandfather to his two precious grandchildren, he loved them dearly.
Zvonko was proud to work for J.M. Schneiders for about 28 years.
Special thanks to family and friends who showed support over the past couple of weeks. The family also wishes to thank Dr. Glick and the staff at the Grand River Cancer Centre and Dr. Strban and staff at St. Mary's Hospital.
